Fondation Diane & EcoSwitch Coalition Organizing the 2nd Edition of
the "Switchers Support Programme "
The "Switchers Support Programme" was looking for 120 innovators and green entrepreneurs, at ideation phase or early-stage, with a sustainable business idea that can provide commercial solution to environmental challenges.
The Call for Applicants targeted creative thinkers and doers, especially women, who want to be green entrepreneurs, innovators, and change makers with a sustainable business idea and potential to create ecological and social value.
“The Switchers Support Programme” under SwitchMed, an EU funded program that is implemented by Fondation Diane, has provided 120 eco-entrepreneurs at ideation stage the needed support to develop their green business model using the “Switchers Online Toolbox”.
20 projects were selected for an 8-month incubation period and will be able to develop their green business plan while benefitting from technical assistance vouchers. They were able to validate their ideas with the help of certified trainers and coaches, using Lean start-up approach to be able to bring their innovation to the Mediterranean markets, contribute to a greener economy, and secure more jobs, especially for women and youths. These entrepreneurs were also given networking opportunities in which they have shared their experience and challenges with other like-minded people.
The Selected Green Projects - 1st batch are: CIRCL, Organy Clean, Sharing Municipalities, Biofertile, Cobbler & Co, ReFuse, SolaRAY, CIDRA, and Re-done.
The Selected Green Projects - 2nd batch are: Hamzah Hemps, Ardkon, Eco farm, Hamsah, Washta, Drive Green, Teenflakes, Savvy Elements, Annine Fadye, Disconnected, SHEAVERA.
